Will it Ever Be the Same?

Methane mizzle mists lightly over
Methane rivers and lakes
Methane voices moshing in the rain
A drizzle of methane moons

Earth drank every drop
Nothing left for oceans, seas, rivers, lakes,
Nothing for the extra-large front load washers
Nothing for the community plunge.

I penned an Op-Ed
Addressing my concerns
My angle, from where I sit
At my local dig site.

I’m a hardliner for newly proposed presences
A kingpin and one of the major contributors
That help shape modern
And remain possibly the only.
