My hope was to write a poem
A multitasking poem that
Collapses the government
You are reading under
And at the same time
Strengthens the overall job market.
What follows is not what I intended
Rather the strategic application
Of what I made of what I intended
I intended to reduce pain at the pump
But it’s been a hell of a holy week
In the games and entertainment universe.
War grabbed our attention
(By the pussy)
How many seconds left
On the nuclear c(l)ock
All out of time outs is
The number of time outs remaining.
